Sue grew up in a Christian family in rural Minnesota. After she met and married her high school sweetheart their adventurous hearts led them away from Minnesota and adrift from the foundation of Christ and the church, which had been part of her upbringing. Through God's abundant grace and amazing timing, however, He reached out and snatched them both from the perils of a life independent from God and brought them both to the point of decision to completely follow Jesus in October 1982. Shortly after, God allowed them the opportunity to serve in Youth Ministry in a thriving church in Great Falls, MT. That was the beginning of what has turned into 36 years of Pastoring and Teaching together. Sue has lived in Ontario for 29 years, spent 25 years educating her own children, and currently serves her church through the writing, teaching and YouTube ministry of Women of the Word at Calvary Chapel. They have four adult children and spouses who live in the Treasure Valley and have given them five grandchildren (ages 1-15). In their spare time she and Paul enjoy camping and touring the countryside on their motorcycles.
